Fue un viaje realizado en 1826. Era ciego y se hacía narrar por un amigo lo que veía.
1ª edición en 4 volúmenes en 8° editado en Londres en 1834-35 con el título: A voyage round the world (localizado en la Universidad Pompeu Fabra de Barcelona). Contiene mapa y 21 litografías. Editada en Smith, Elder & Co. La segunda edición es un extracto de la primera conteniendo sólo las partes citadas en el título (que es el Atlántico africano). Hay edición de 1972 por la Black Heritage Library Collection.
